Hi,
Is there any other server starting? You should watch the GC Client console for any error messages. |

Start GameCreate attempted to start TG|JK2 Server. 10/28/2007 20:18:25
and the host still states its of line.
"Fail lion has disconnected from GameCreate. 10/28/2007 05:05:23"
Thats all our servers down with no way it would seem of being able to run them
We have checked the host and from what we can see theres nothing stopping the servers working there.
Iv set up one ET server to work straight from our host with no GC interaction and it works fine.
We are totaly at a loss as to why nothing is now working through the GC pannel unless it has anything to do with coming out of beta stage??
We know this was working fine up untill 05:05:23 on Sunday morning at which time the servers should have all been restarted as per the schedual.
Could the program be stuck in a loop?? im just guessing here but these are things we cant check our end |

I don't know why you are only pasting half the logs.

It's saying its finding the process has crashed on startup.
Run the process manually or via GC still, and watch the GC Client console until it starts the process.
Watch what happens to the process when it starts, eg, is it complaining that its map cannot be found so it quits? |

Only posting half the logs because between me posting my copy of the log on the 29th and you posting your copy on the 30th we managed to get the dedi and GC talking again with a re install of the host.
What your seeing now is the issue we have with three of our servers (CSS and ET:QW are running fine) the ET, JK2 and TS servers wont run at all and we are still working on fixing the issue.
The process that appear in the failur logs are exactly as you posted them and there is no sign of any complaint threw GC console other than the one listed above in your post.
We have tried un-installing both the games from GC and our dedi and then re-installing but again we get the same issue, any further info/help you can provide would be great. |

Try running the game manually.
Its failing because its trying to start the software and supposedly succeeds, but the application *instantly* quits.
Run the server manually by hand with the same command line shown on the Server Overview tab. Get this working, and then GC can start it fine too. |

Yup, done this Andrew and everything is fine at the moment for all the servers except Team Speak.
This is our only issue but unless you say diffrently I dont hink GC can look after TS servers.
Teamspeak provides its own web admin interface and because of this gamecr34te can start the teamspeak server but doesn't know how to shut it down
All the data that teamspeak stores is in a sqlite database and it appears gamecreate can't read those?
Again I could be wrong :S |

GC does manage TeamSpeak servers but its integration is very simple.
I've managed to get this working but i'm not really sure how i did it.
Here's what i think i did:
1. install the teamspeak server inside the gamecreate folder so GC can "get to it" (you have to do this manually).
2. Edit the config file to your liking.
3. Create a TeamSpeak server and set the few options available through GC: Server Name, Server Port, Public Listing, etc...
I'll do a little research and get back to you with more detail.
Edit: you can find out where GC is expecting the TeamSpeak server files to be by creating a server and looking at the GC console output. I just did a test on our windows box and the console output reads:
Launching process: D:\GameCreate\GameCreate-2574\teamspeak\server_windows.exe
...
The system cannot find the file specified. |

I run a TS server in Linux through GC with no modifications
whatsoever to the TS config file.
However, I have a customised command-line, so you may
want to try this:
Code: | %server:port% %server:players% "%admin_password%" "%server:name%" "%motd%" -pid=port%server:port%.pid |
Gamecreate doesn't need to read the sqlite database.
All it has to do is start TS with the proper parameters,
which it does. You will then be able to manage TS through
its admin webpages as normal. |
