Hi my counter strike source servers don't setup and just say "updating" with no error messages. I cannot stop the server and so can't remove them aswell as the fact they generally don't work. Srcds is completely updated and have checked myself so i'm at a loss as to what the problem could be? I wish it would let you choose the command line to start srcds from where you choose, I think this may be a problem!
Please help I am thinking about buying this software for my company....

How long have you waited for the software to update? I noticed it was a little slow and took my connection around 6 hours to fully update (install) Usually an install from steam for me takes around 3 hours. I would like to see a feature where you can see the console messages (of the server, and when you are installing, such as getting xyz.map checking blah blah.) |

Hi garrahy,
What is your domain URL? I can have a look for you.
kmc: Yeah, we may introduce this, but we really want to move away from people having to login to the host itself to find out whats going on.
Our content server is in Australia, so its probably a lot slower than you would download from where you are.
You can always 'mark the software as installed' on the last step so you can install it yourself. We plan to include other content servers at a later date. |

I fixed that problem but now I have a new one....when setting up a server I get the following error:
LOG: Thu Sep 28 20:45:00 2006: Check failed on process 3632 (ID: 9351292)
LOG: Thu Sep 28 20:45:00 2006: SSL >> ACK: CHECKFAILED id=9351292
[28 bytes] - result: 28 |

Checkfailed means the process ID (3632) was not found to be running on the host.
Ensure the server is even starting correctly by running it manually from the command line |
