I was just wondering if I could install the games I want manually as using GC takes far too long ?

Yes.
On the final step, click 'Advanced' and then tick the 'Do not download, the game software is already physically installed in the required location' box. |

Not at this time, it is something we can easily implement however consideration needs to be put into the security of it.
If possible, just rename your startup script to be the script to be the filename of the target executable. |
