|
|
Hello we have a Game Server hosted at Steadfast Networks so we have a real good internet connection. But the install of a game that I am testing is going real slow. Can I speed it up hosting the server files on our server and then doing the install from there? |

yes you can setup your own content server via domains->packages and install files from there, you might try copying the .txt file from gamecreate content server though. |

Thanks yeah I saw that part. What I was wondering was if you could do it from a separate hard drive on the host computer? |

i believe you would need to set up a webserver and have it point to you directory on your hard-drive, allowing any machine you have to get its files from that location
What you can also do, is a manual install, ie have all the files yourself locally, and when you 'install a game' on teh game create control panel, click the advanced options, and select 'do not download' . then you can move over your required files manually. |
