|
|
I have a big problem and no clue what's causing it.
I'm currently hosting ~10 Americas Army servers.
A week ago I transferred each of them into separate subdomains.
Now I suddenly found out GC doesn't even touch them anymore, If I press stop, start, restart or such, nothing happens, not even a new message on GC application itself.
The server is with Windows 2008 and this is only about Americas Army (so far) and only with subdomains. I created a copy of one subdomain AA into non-subdomain and it works flawlessly. I copied all the files back to subdomain and still nothing happens.
I've restarted the GC application, no help.
Any ideas? This is a serious problem for me.
Other than this, I have to say GC is awesome, only con before this is that content server speed really sucks It might take days to install a game so better be ready when you have the need for it. |

Oh and I forgot to say: If I start the server from Windows command prompt with exact same command line that's in GC, the game runs fine. Just the GC don't start them. |

Can you give us your GC domain name so we can take a closer look?
On a side note, you can create your own content server if it would better suit you.

I'm thinking of creating own content server but first I need to find out what's the problem on starting the servers
Domain is peliportaali and currently I'm running manually all those AA games that GC should run.
It feels like GC wouldn't send any data to GC client program on the server when I try to manage those American Army games on subdomains. |

Do you see the gamecreate console try and spawn the server? |

It doesn't react in any ways to commands for subdomain AA servers. non-subdomain AA:s and other than AA servers on subdomains it starts correctly. |

Has the game installation finished? GameCreate wont start servers that have a failed or in-progress install for the server's game. |

I have manually copied them (using a "Do not download" selection on install).
And they work properly on command line start with the same command as there is on GC. |
